DO – Have a Twitter account
DO – Include your location on your Twitter account – accounts in the UK have a higher likelihood of being retweeted
DO – Post using #MidlandsHour
DO – Use relevant hashtags but don’t over do it. 3 – 4 is usually enough, anything more can look like spam
DO – Share the love! #MidlandsHour is all about connecting like-minded individuals and sharing each others businesses and achievements. Get retweeting!
DO – Make sure you business website address is on your Twitter account and links to your website, how else will your new followers find out more about your business
DO – Post interesting comment and respond to others, start a conversation just like a face-to-face business networking event – you won’t get much out of it by standing alone in a corner!
DO – Share the ‘Business of the Week’ you never know, you could be next and you’ll want people to share you!
DON’T – Schedule your posts – yawn… Boring! Besides, if you’re not logged on you won’t be able to speak to your replies.
DON’T – Forget to logon Wednesdays, 8pm – 9pm
